I am a loner by choice. I don’t have any friends, just acquaintances I only talk to if I run into them. People at school either reel away from me in disgust like I have a disease, or some try to incorporate me into the conversation. It’s nice of people to try, but really, just leave me be.
I’m happy being a loner. There’s nothing wrong with being a loner. I wish people would accept that.
I also like being alone. It’s comforting knowing people are there for me but I like being able to stand on my own two feet and saying “I did it and I did it myself.” 9/10 times I much rather be in a book than go out for dinner with friends and that’s fine. I like it and it makes me happy.
OK, Google, how to start a revolution?
